The Europe says stop to the illegal discharges in Greece. And the Calabria how is it?
In his recent visit in Greece, the Commissary Danuta Hübner itself é brought on September 8 in the place of the municipal discharge of Tebe. 4,8 million Euro of the Fund of cohesion have let build a new discharge and recover the old site, which was not respecting the prominent European rules. In the period 2007-2013, the structural funds will allow support to this type of initiatives in all the Greek territory, within the bounds of the “regional plans for the management of the solid waste”. The reason é the reduction of the quantities of refusals led to discharge and the incentive of the recycling and of the composting. The Greek government has recognised the existence of quite 1.125 illegal discharges which, if they were to a sentence of the European court of justice (cause C-502/03) should be closed before the end of 2008.
The visit in Calabria of the commissaria European Hubner not é been about still confirmed, but we hope that flying towards the Greece it could have ascertained at the high one that the situation of the Calabrian refusals é very far from the complete resolution for as provided the sentence of the European court of Justice
